Be Part of the Chamber Crew
Volunteers are the heart of the Twain Harte Area Chamber of Commerce.
We’re volunteer-powered, community-rooted, and proud to say our volunteers feel like family. When you lend a hand with the Chamber, you’re not just helping run an event or check a box on a to-do list, you’re helping local businesses thrive, strengthening community connections, and keeping our Highway 108 corridor vibrant.
Whether you love being out in the community or prefer to help behind the scenes with a laptop and a strong cup of coffee, there’s a place for you here.
Join us and help us build good things, right here at home.
See what it’s like to volunteer here
We’re organized, friendly, and grateful. We don’t expect you to do everything, we just love when people do something. We’ll match you with tasks that fit your availability and comfort level, and we’ll make sure you know exactly what “done” looks like.
And yes, we’re biased… but we think we have the best volunteers anywhere!
Why volunteer with the Chamber?
Because it matters. Chamber volunteers help create the events, promotions, and connections that keep our local economy strong and our communities welcoming.
You’ll also get:
A chance to meet great people (and become part of a genuinely supportive crew)
A front-row seat to what’s happening locally
Meaningful ways to support small businesses and makers
Opportunities to use your skills in ways that have real community impact
How you can help
We have two main ways to volunteer, and you can do either (or both):
Skill-Based Volunteers
Want to use your professional skills to help build better tools and systems for our community? Yes please.
We’re especially looking for help with:
Copywriting & storytelling (website copy, member spotlights, announcements)
Squarespace support (page updates, design tweaks, organization, SEO basics)
CRM, database, and directory cleanup (organizing lists, deduping contacts, improving data quality)
Digital workflow improvements (forms, automation, templates, processes that save volunteer time)
Graphic design & brand help (simple assets, flyers, social images)
Photography/video (especially short social-friendly clips)
Event & Community Volunteers
These are the folks who help our events run smoothly throughout the year, from set-up to clean-up and everything in between.
Examples include:
Event set-up/tear-down, check-in, and logistics
Welcoming visitors and helping with directions/info
Sponsorship and vendor support
Photo/video help during events
“Friendly face” support (because vibes matter)
How much time does it take?
That’s up to you.
You can volunteer:
One-time (help at a single event)
Occasionally (a few hours here and there)
Ongoing (join a committee or take on a small recurring role)
Even 1–2 hours a month can make a real difference.
